1. Who you are contracting with
Ad Interceptor is provided by Ratnesh Kushwaha, a sole trader established in India, trading as "Ad Interceptor" ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at thenightwatchcaptain@gmail.com.
Ad Interceptor Pro is sold by Ratnesh Kushwaha, trading as Ad Interceptor, of India. We are the seller of record: you are contracting with us, we issue your receipt, and we are responsible for the sale. PayPal processes the payment on our behalf as our payment provider — they are not the seller. Your card or account details go to them, not to us, and are handled under their privacy policy.
2. What the extension is
Ad Interceptor is a browser extension that blocks advertising and tracking requests, and hides leftover advertising containers on web pages. Blocking rules are compiled from the publicly available EasyList and EasyPrivacy filter lists and are evaluated by your browser on your own device.
The free version is provided at no cost and includes the complete filter set. Pro is an optional paid 12-month licence adding in-stream video ad removal on major video platforms, anti-adblock overlay removal, and a daily-refreshed filter feed.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the extension. A Pro licence may be activated on up to 3 devices at a time. You may release a device and activate another; devices not used for 60 days are released automatically.
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute your licence key, or share it beyond the device limit. We may revoke a key that is being shared or resold, or where a payment has been refunded or charged back.
4. Payment, term and renewal
Pro is a single payment, made in advance, for 12 months from the date of purchase. It does not renew automatically and there is nothing to cancel. Before the 12 months end, the extension reminds you; renewing is a new payment that adds another 12 months to the same licence key, counted from the end of your current period so no paid-for days are lost.
Licences bought before 24 September 2026 as an annual subscription continue to renew until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time, keeping access until the end of the period already paid for.
We do not pro-rate part-used periods except as set out in our refund policy. Prices may change; a change applies only to payments made after it, never retroactively.
5. What we do not promise
Advertising and anti-adblocking techniques change constantly, and filter lists are maintained by third parties. We therefore do not warrant that every advertisement will be blocked on every website, that blocking will not occasionally interfere with a website's normal operation, or that the extension will be uninterrupted or error-free. The per-site pause control exists precisely because some sites break under aggressive blocking.
The software is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability which cannot lawfully be limited — and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the extension is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to circumvent the licensing mechanism, redistribute modified copies as though they were ours, or use the extension to break any applicable law. The extension is intended for personal use in an ordinary web browser.
8. Privacy
The extension collects nothing about you. Without a licence key its only network request is a periodic fetch of a small settings file, carrying no identifier. With a key, it sends your licence key and a random installation identifier to our licence server in order to verify entitlement and enforce the device limit. Full detail is in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Third-party filter lists
Blocking rules derive from EasyList, EasyPrivacy and the Adblock Warning Removal List, used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence and credited accordingly. Those lists are maintained independently; we do not control their contents.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. Material changes affecting paying customers will be notified before they take effect, and the date below always shows the current version.
These terms are governed by the law of India. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
